Al-Nasr came from two goals down against Al-Hilal to secure a dramatic 3-2 win in stoppage time through a penalty scored by Tunisian midfielder Saed Bakir, moving to four points at the top of Group 2. The result was helped by Al-Ahly Benghazi’s 2-1 defeat to Al-Akhdar in Al-Marj, thanks to a late goal from the Sudanese winger, leaving both Al-Nasr and Al-Akhdar level at the top. Meanwhile, striker Hamza Al-Derai led Al-Ittihad Al-Askari to its first win after defeating Al-Afriqi 1-0.
