McBride doesn’t step up in playoff start

The Philadelphia 76ers truly have their backs against the wall.

Only four teams — New York Knicks (1951 NBA Finals), Denver Nuggets (1994 Western Conference semifinals), Portland Trail Blazers (2003 Western Conference first round) and Boston Celtics (2023 Eastern Conference Finals) — have come back from 3-0 down to force a Game 7, only to lose that winner-take-all matchup.

The Celtics are the latest team, losing to the Miami Heat in Game 7 during the 2023 NBA playoffs.
