ALTUS, Okla. (KSWO) – A Hobart man has been appointed to the Western Oklahoma State College Board of Regents by the Senate Education Committee.

Randy Squires will succeed Dr. Dana Darby and will serve a seven-year term ending March 24, 2033.

College officials said Squires has over 25 years of experience with the Plains Cotton Cooperative Association.

“Randy Squires will make a great addition to our board,” said Chad Wiginton, Western Oklahoma State College president. “His connection with the Kiowa County communities and his direct involvement with agriculture related industries will be a tremendous asset for Western.”
