Bay FC is celebrating Pride Month a little early with their mid-day Sunday match at PayPal Park versus Chicago Stars FC.

NWSL Action on the Pitch 

Bay FC’s last two matches have shown plenty of fight.

On May 15 at home, Bay FC and Boston Legacy FC played to a 1–1 draw. Dorian Bailey put Bay ahead in the 51st minute, and it looked like that might be enough — until Amanda Santos stepped to the penalty spot in the 64th and leveled it.

Five days later in Portland, Bay FC ran into a Thorns side that made the most of their chances. Portland opened the scoring in the 30th minute and, despite Bay FC pushing back and creating more danger as the match wore on, sealed it with a second goal in the second half.

The head-to-head history between these two proves the rivalry stays tight. While Bay FC claimed a historic 2-1 away victory at Wrigley Field in June 2024 in front of a then-record crowd, the Chicago Stars have since answered back, forcing a 2-1 loss and a 1-1 draw on Bay FC in August 2025. Yet, one constant remains: Bay FC has found the back of the net in every single meeting.

RE Football Loves You Tee Shirt Activation 

Bay FC is bringing the sparkle to Pride Match in partnership with RE, a global sports media brand led by USWNT champions Tobin Heath and Christen Press, which aims to better the world through the unifying power of sport. During FanFest, supporters and REimaginers can customize and decorate their own tee shirts. Fans can purchase a Bay FC x RE tee shirt on site or bring one of their own to participate.

 Football Loves You is RE’s declaration that football belongs to everyone: the dreamers, the outsiders, and the ones who were told there was no place for them. Football does not discriminate.
