Jesse Metcalfe<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t desperate to go under the knife anytime soon.<\/p>\n

Though the John Tucker Must Die <\/em>star revealed that the only cosmetic procedure he\u2019s had done is Botox, he shared that he\u2019s not willing to go much further than injections when it comes to maintaining his appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a little bit of Botox in my forehead one time,\u201d Jesse, 47, told The Daily Mail<\/a><\/em> in an interview published March 30, “and I got home and my eyebrows were uneven and I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m never doing this again.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not opposed to non-invasive procedures like that,\u201d he added, \u201cI\u2019m not really looking to go under the knife ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

While getting plastic surgery isn\u2019t completely off the table, the NUTRL Skin founder hopes to keep his youthful glow the natural way.<\/p>\n

As he put it, \u201cI just want to do everything I can to maintain the elasticity of my skin before I even do anything like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Jesse admitted that being fresh-faced as an actor comes with its own set of challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cFunny enough it\u2019s kind of a disadvantage,\u201d he explained, \u201cbecause when you reach my age, people want you to be playing these more mature roles. So, father roles and whatnot and sometimes I don\u2019t look old enough so I\u2019m sort of stuck in the middle, sort of stuck in this weird space where I don\u2019t look my age.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut with that said, I\u2019ve been really blessed within the industry,\u201d he continued, \u201cand I think that people trust me in beauty and in skincare because they see how much younger I look than I actually am.\u201d<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s no secret that Jesse has gone where the wind has blown him within his acting career. After all, he recently shared why his role as teen gardener John Rowland in Desperate Housewives<\/a> <\/em>only lasted for one season\u2014and why he was so OK to step away from the show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was fired from Desperate Housewives. <\/em>After the first season, they didn\u2019t really know where else to take my storyline,\u201d Jesse explained in the March 17 episode<\/a> of the Not Skinny But Not Fat<\/em> podcast. \u201cThe creator Marc Cherry<\/strong> was like, \u2018Hey, this isn\u2019t Desperate House-gardeners<\/em>. This is Desperate Housewives<\/em>. So unfortunately, you\u2019re not gonna be a series regular moving forward on the show. We\u2019re gonna bring you back intermittently.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

And since his titular role in the 2006 film John Tucker Must Die<\/a><\/em> alongside Brittany Snow<\/strong>, Ashanti<\/strong>, Sophia Bush<\/strong> and Arielle Kebbel<\/strong> was waiting in the wings, Jesse left the show with no hard feelings.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018Hey, cool. No big deal. I\u2019m gonna be a movie star,\u2019\u201d he noted of his reaction at the time. \u201cI did come back intermittently, but I wasn\u2019t hit super hard. I took it in stride because I thought, \u2018This is only the beginning.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
