Tyson Fury is just days away from his return to the ring after a year and a half, but his family would rather he stayed retired.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two-time heavyweight champion is already a near-certainty to land in the Hall of Fame when he does eventually hang up the gloves for real. But after two defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024<\/a>, it remains to be seen what more he has to prove.<\/p>\n

Now, after his father John Fury claimed that the pair have fallen out<\/a> over his decision to continue fighting, his brother Tommy has also told of how he doesn\u2019t want his sibling to continue. However, he is confident that the \u2018Gypsy King\u2019 will defeat Arslanbek Makhmudov on Saturday night in their Netflix<\/a> showdown.<\/p>\n

Tommy Fury reveals family don\u2019t want Tyson Fury to keep fighting<\/h2>\n

Tyson Fury<\/a> is not the only famous boxer in his family; his brother Tommy Fury<\/a> is also a massive star owing to his notoriety from Love Island and massive pay-per-view clashes with Jake Paul and KSI. The pair have been close for years, and always attend one another\u2019s events.<\/p>\n

However, the younger sibling is the latest member of his family to admit that he feels that his brother\u2019s health would benefit from giving up on fighting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think if you asked any one of his family do we want to see him keeping boxing the answer would have been an all around \u2018no\u2019,\u201d Tommy admitted to Bloody Elbow. \u201cThat\u2019s all the way around the board because we care about his health.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously you guys are fight fans you love to see him in the ring because he brings that entertainment. But we think of his health and everything like that so listen, he\u2019s decided to keep fighting, it\u2019s Tyson who is a fighting man who loves to do so.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I guess time will tell and I think he definitely still has it in him because he wouldn\u2019t be getting in that ring if he knew he didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tommy Fury believes Tyson Fury will defeat Arslanbek Makhmudov<\/h2>\n

Despite his concerns for his brother\u2019s health in the long run, Tommy Fury is confident that Tyson has enough to get through the Russian Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s going to be a great fight,\u201d Tommy continued. \u201cI think he probably could have picked an easier fight to come back against. He\u2019s massive, he\u2019s a man mountain with a knockout ratio and power and he\u2019s been in some big fights before.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing is, Tyson just needs to stay switched on this Saturday, box how he knows he can box and he\u2019ll get the job done. If he does that, I don\u2019t see the fight going past eight or ten rounds. If he boxes like I know he can Makhmudov is getting stopped late on.\u201d<\/p>\n
