The news comes as a surprise, as there have been several reports that the pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs champ were eyeing Rhode Island<\/a> \u2014 where Swift owns a large estate<\/a> next door to a hotel \u2014 for the nuptials<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, a source told Page Six back in November<\/a> that\u00a0the pair was thinking about scrapping that idea and going \u201call out\u201d at a totally different venue that can accommodate more attendees.\u201d<\/p>\n
