Published: April 20, 2026<\/p>\n By Mallory Mattingly<\/p>\n Author and speaker Tim Tebow is on a mission to reach the \u201cmost vulnerable people.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf we have been so fortunate and blessed to have heard the good news of the gospel, how selfish would I be if I didn\u2019t tell people about the greatest love story, rescue mission of all time?\u201d the former NFL player asked<\/a> while speaking with Fox Nation. \u201cI think sometimes in life, we mistake our platform for our purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n He shared how his goal in his athletic career was to \u201ctry to be the best\u201d and \u201cmaybe even an MVP.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut I knew that God was pricking my heart that \u2018I have a more important MVP for you to chase,’\u201d Tebow continued. \u201cYou see, the one I was chasing was the most valuable player. The one He wants me to chase is the most vulnerable people. He was challenging me, saying, \u2018Timmy, which one will you care about more?’\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cYou are going to have trials or tribulations, but take heart\u2026choose courage,\u201d he continued, referencing John 16:33<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen we look at Scripture and the meaning of the word \u2018bold,\u2019 it means to put it all on the line to do what is necessary. There will never be a day that we wake up where what Jesus did on the cross will be outdone or undone,\u201d the former quarterback emphasized.<\/p>\n Related: According to Tim Tebow, This Is the \u2018Most Important Thing You Can Do\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n He serves the MVP through his Tim Tebow Foundation, which is on a mission<\/a> to \u201cbring Faith, Hope\u00a0and\u00a0Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of\u00a0need.\u201d<\/p>\n They do this through<\/a> anti-human trafficking and child exploitation efforts, orphan care, medical needs work and serving those with special needs.<\/p>\n \u201cI have spent a lot of time in my life chasing championships, awards and trying to be the MVP, the most valuable player,\u201d Tebow said<\/a>. \u201cBut ultimately, God opened my eyes and wrecked my heart to help me realize that our Savior, Jesus, died for humanity and has called and commanded us to go care for and love His MVPs \u2014 the Most Vulnerable People in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhen we first had the idea for If the Tree Could Speak<\/em>, we honestly didn\u2019t know if there was a place for it in the world. It was such a unique concept, but we wanted to trust what God put on our hearts. God clearly had a plan,\u201d Tebow shared<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe cross is no longer a tool of torture. It\u2019s a symbol that points to a Savior,\u201d he continued. \u201cThis book was always about helping people rediscover that truth \u2014 to not just think about what happened on the cross, but who it happened to\u2026The Carpenter.
