However, the cancellations make room for new shows like Cupertino <\/em>and NCIS: New York<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n CBS<\/a>‘ lineup will look a little different this year.<\/p>\n The network has canceled at least three shows since January 2026, including beloved newer series like Watson<\/a> <\/em>and the long-running talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n “They\u2019re extremely tough calls to make,\u201d CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said at the Banff World Media Festival in June 2024 after NCIS: Hawai’i <\/em>and So Help Me Todd <\/em>were canceled, per Variety<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m a big fan of TV first and I sympathize and relate to all of the fans out there who are disappointed in the fact that these shows are ending.”<\/p>\n She continued, “We toss and turn and have sleepless nights and have endless discussions but we look at all of the numbers.
