AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR decided they wanted to open Collision so they could accept the challenge of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage to face them for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Double or Nothing in a New York Street Fight. But if FTR wins, Cage and Cope must retire as a team. After Cash Wheeler accepted, Dax Harwood said they also wanted to make it an \u201cI Quit\u201d Match!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Don Callis Family had two shots to win gold on Saturday night. First, Lance Archer, CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Hechicero and Andrade El \u00cddolo challenged The Conglomeration for the AEW World Trios Titles. Still, in the end, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O\u2019Reilly came away with their first championship defense. Later, \u201cJungle\u201d Jack Perry defended the AEW National Championship against El Clon and also walked away with a victory. 0-for-2 won\u2019t make Don Callis happy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Plus, The Dogs and Death Riders won a wild 10-man tag over the Young Bucks and The Rascalz, Anthony Bowens joined The Opps, and we found out what happened between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley after Dynamite!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Playoff Palooza brought us plenty of highlights and newsworthy moments from Portland! Here are your complete Collision results!<\/span><\/span> AEW World Trios Champions The Conglomeration were all on the same page, as Roderick Strong thanked Orange Cassidy for his new shirt. Kyle O\u2019Reilly was fired up to defend the AEW World Trios Titles for the first time, but he was interrupted by Stokely and AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR. Stoke said FTR had something important to say to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. He didn\u2019t know why O\u2019Reilly, Cassidy and Strong were in a rush because everyone knows they are going to lose to Hechicero, Lance Archer and Andrade, whom he called close, personal friends, as he stuck his finger in each member of The Conglomeration\u2019s chest. Stoke and FTR left to make their way to the ring.<\/span><\/span> Cash Wheeler called Cope\u2019s challenge interesting and said bringing anything to the table was enticing, like the stipulation that if FTR wins, Cope and Cage can no longer team. Wheeler didn\u2019t drag things out and accepted the challenge for Double or Nothing! Dax Harwood wondered how it is that Cope and Cage think they deserve the AEW World Tag Team Titles simply because of what they did 25 years ago. Harwood said no one wanted them here. The crowd booed that.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Harwood said Cope didn\u2019t have to challenge their manhood to get this match; they just had to put their careers on the line. Harwood wanted to do one better, but the crowd was vocal about shutting him up. He continued to say he didn\u2019t want any more questions or debates, so he proposed that the New York Street Fight for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Double or Nothing now be an I Quit match as well!\u00a0<\/span><\/span> The Conglomeration made their entrance with Stoke and FTR still leaving the ringside area, so there was a confrontation on the ramp with Strong and O\u2019Reilly shoving FTR to the ground. Cassidy reared back to hit Stokely, but he hit the ground out of fear. The Conglomeration continued to the ring for their championship defense.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n O\u2019Reilly started things off with Hechicero, as both men grappled on the mat, looking for an early advantage. Hechicero trapped O\u2019Reilly in the ropes with a choke from the apron and nailed a dragon screw through the ropes. O\u2019Reilly came back to kick Hechicero into the corner and tagged Strong to double-team Hechicero. Cassidy tagged in and went to the top rope, as Strong held Hechicero over his knee. But as we\u2019ve seen quite often, Cassidy worked his way down the ropes and to the mat for an elbow drop to Hechicero, which he posed for accordingly. Archer didn\u2019t find it as funny when he tagged in and stepped to Cassidy. Cassidy thought better of it and tagged Strong. Strong immediately chopped Archer, but Archer dropped him with a shoulder tackle.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Cassidy and Andrade tagged in at the same time. Andrade stopped Cassidy from putting his hand in his pockets. He feigned taking his pants off, so Cassidy kicked him in the shins with the usual OC intensity. Cassidy lined up for one more kick, but instead pulled Andrade\u2019s belt off and tossed it aside. Andrade pulled up his pants and charged at Cassidy, who moved and pulled Andrade\u2019s pants down to his ankles! Cassidy took Andrade down with a dropkick. O\u2019Reilly tagged back in and mounted Andrade in the corner for punches. Strong tagged in for 10 punches of his own. Cassidy tagged in\u2026for one punch. The stunned crowd chanted \u201cHOLY SH*T!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n With Andrade on the floor, Cassidy lined up for a dive, but instead, O\u2019Reilly came running down the apron with a flying knee to Andrade, who ducked, which left O\u2019Reilly to get trucked by Archer on the floor!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Don Callis Family isolated Cassidy in their corner, although Cassidy tried to fight all of them off to make a tag. Finally, after taking down Hechicero and Andrade, Cassidy sent Archer to the floor and tagged O\u2019Reilly! O\u2019Reilly came in, hitting anything that moved! He put Andrade on the mat with a leg sweep, so Hechicero tried to cut him off, only for Strong to make a blind tag. O\u2019Reilly escaped Hechicero\u2019s grasp with a pair of elbows and started to ping-pong with Strong to attack Hechicero Andrade in the corners. Strong used Cassidy as a weapon to batter Andrade and Hechicero. Archer goozled both Cassidy and Strong until O\u2019Reilly kicked them free. Strong went after Hechicero and eventually got him up for a fireman\u2019s carry slam after O\u2019Reilly provided some assistance with a stiff kick. Strong covered, but Hechicero kicked out at two.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n O\u2019Reilly tagged back in, and Hechicero was sent to the ropes, where Andrade made a blind tag. Hechicero ducked under O\u2019Reilly and Strong and sent each to a corner with Andrade. Hechicero hit a rising knee to Strong in one corner, and Andrade followed with a meteora to O\u2019Reilly in the opposite corner. O\u2019Reilly kicked out at two. Andrade went into Three Amigos, but O\u2019Reilly blocked the third with a knee to the head and tagged Cassidy. Cassidy tried a tilt-a-whirl DDT, so Andrade blocked it, and Cassidy turned it into a near-fall. Cassidy fought hard for a Stundog Millionaire and connected, but Andrade tagged Archer, unbeknownst to Cassidy. Archer flattened Cassidy with a crossbody and chokeslammed O\u2019Reilly onto Strong! Archer picked up Cassidy for Blackout, so Cassidy slipped behind him only for Archer to catch him again with a huge Hellacoaster! Strong and O\u2019Reilly made the save on the pin!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n After the ring cleared out a bit, Archer grabbed O\u2019Reilly and Strong by the throat, so Cassidy grabbed Archer by the throat! Archer threw the two away and grabbed Cassidy, but when he lifted Cassidy for a chokeslam, Cassidy connected with a defensive Orange Punch in midair! O\u2019Reilly and Strong nailed Archer with a combination, and Cassidy hit another Orange Punch. O\u2019Reilly and Strong wiped Archer out with Total Elimination, and Strong threw Cassidy on top of Archer for the pinfall victory! The Conglomeration has its first successful defense of the AEW World Trios Championship!<\/span><\/span> We saw footage from after Dynamite that picked up with Claudio Castagnoli carrying Ospreay through an unknown building alongside Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta before dumping Ospreay in a chair opposite AEW Continental Champion Jox Moxley, who was already sitting in his own chair. Yuta threw water in Ospreay\u2019s face and asked if he was awake. Marina Shafir put a towel around Ospreay\u2019s neck and twisted it from behind in both directions, which appeared to give Ospreay some relief before a quick neck massage. Moxley commented that Shafir was good. With Castagnoli, Garcia, Yuta and Shafir standing by, Moxley started with a simple question to Ospreay\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhat is it you\u2019re trying to accomplish? Other than breaking my neck? When you go to the ring, when you get up in the morning, where are you trying to go? Who are you trying to be? What is it you\u2019re chasing? I don\u2019t think you know the answers to those questions anymore. Almost seven years ago, I saw you for the first time. The power you yield, the ability you have. But this, your body, flesh, muscle, bone, will break eventually. You can try to run through the brick wall as many times as you want, but the wall\u2019s not going anywhere. But if you step back and realize there\u2019s a door, you can walk right through it and become whoever you want on the other side.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Moxley pointed to his head and continued, \u201cThis. Trained and honed properly, it will not break. You take dominion over your mind. We can turn you into a weapon like professional wrestling has never seen. This thing Moxley slipped a chair across the floor to Ospreay as the rest of the Death Riders walked away and said, \u201cWe can settle up, and you can be just like everybody else. Or you can become everything you are meant to be. Your choice.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n And with that, Moxley lay face down on the cement floor with his hands behind his back. Ospreay cautiously picked up the chair and then said to the camera, \u201cGet out. Now!\u201d The camera shut off, and we were left wondering what else happened between Moxley and Ospreay.<\/span><\/span> After what we just saw, Moxley joined the commentary team for this 10-man tag. The Dogs harassed a member of the production crew before making their way down the ramp. Moxley said the Dogs align with the Death Riders’ values and that Gabe Kidd has been a valuable ally. The mood changed considerably during the entrances of The Rascalz and the Young Bucks. Tony Schiavone asked Moxley what happened with Will Ospreay after the camera cut off in the footage we just saw, and Moxley said that didn\u2019t need to be addressed and that the rest was up to Ospreay.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Xavier and Yuta opened this match for their respective sides, but it quickly broke down into a 10-man brawl, with Xavier finding himself on the wrong end of a 5-on-1 conveyor belt attack in the corner. Nick Jackson came off the top, but Castagnoli caught him and nailed a backbreaker. Nick started to get the same 5-on-1 treatment until he avoided Garcia in the corner. Everyone else was pulled to the outside, so Garcia found himself on the wrong end of some quick triple-team offense from The Rascalz. Castagnoli ate a pair of superkicks from the Bucks and then an assisted stomp on the back from The Rascalz. The Bucks hit a double boot\/dive combo to the outside, and that fired the crowd up in Portland!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Back in the ring, Castagnoli put Wentz into a Sharpshooter. Garcia put Reed in a Dragon Tamer. The Bucks were sent to the apron but came back in with sunset flips over The Dogs. They put Finlay and Connors in Sharpshooters of their own! In the middle of it all, Xavier and Yuta traded near-falls! Xavier nailed a spinning DDT and tried for the pin, which was enough for Garcia to release his hold and break up the fall. Garcia ate a double-team neckbreaker from the Bucks only for Castagnoli to take them both down. Xavier knocked Castagnoli to the floor and went to the top rope. Yuta cut him off and brought Xavier back down with a stalling suplex! Moxley wanted Yuta to pose, but instead, he tagged Finlay, who brought in Connors for a stungun\/shoulder tackle combo!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Xavier escaped to make the tag to Wentz. He unloaded on Garcia and used a midair leg trip followed by a German Suplex to send Garcia to the corner. Yuta tagged in and ate a bunch of strikes and kicks from Wentz. Wentz got pulled to the floor, so Reed came in and nailed a superkick on Yuta. The Rascalz pinballed Yuta around with some lightning-fast offense, but Yuta managed to kick out of Reed\u2019s pin attempt. Yuta bit Reed\u2019s head and then ate a spin kick to the head. Yuta bounced back and tried a German Suplex, but Reed landed on his feet and nailed a cutter out of nowhere! Moxley was fired up on commentary! \u201cThis is what we live for!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Nick tagged in and handled both of The Dogs with a headscissors\/armdrag combo! Matt tagged in to hit a pair of Northern Lights suplexes on Finlay and Connors and then a double on Garcia and Yuta! Wow! Castagnoli floored Matt with a clothesline and blocked a superkick by Nick, but they stopped a pop-up uppercut with more superkicks! Connors got a double sunset flip from the Bucks, which left him kneeling on the mat. The Bucks hit superkicks as The Rascalz flipped Xavier over as all three kicked Connors on the way down for an amazing 5-on-1 attack! Matt nailed an elbow from the top. Nick followed with a senton. Wentz hit a Spiral Tap. Reed hit a No Cap Splash! Xavier came off the top, but was cut off by Castagnoli, who yanked Xavier into a giant swing into a Yuta dropkick.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Bucks reversed Castagnoli and Yuta into a double bulldog. Finlay got kicked to the mat, but ducked a BTE Trigger and took out the Bucks with a big elbow strike and a backbreaker! Wentz hit Finlay with a springboard corkscrew kick and clotheslined Finlay over the top so hard that Wentz went along for the ride. Castagnoli grabbed Nick on the apron and press-slammed him onto Matt. Reed came over the top with a cutter on Castagnoli, putting them all on the floor! Xavier connected on a big moonsault from the top to the floor! Back in the ring, Wentz hit a rising knee on Connors in the corner and put him on the top turnbuckle. Finlay came in, so Wentz dove off to hit him with a cutter! Yuta saved Finlay from a suplex, so Finlay lifted Wentz back up, and Connors came off the top with Fallout to get the pinfall victory!<\/span><\/span> Lexy Nair was with Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron and Mina Shirakawa. Cameron acknowledged that Statlander said she wouldn\u2019t train her, but as she started to bring up what Shida said behind her back, Shirakawa interjected and demanded Shida apologize. Shida said she would talk directly to Cameron\u2019s face. \u201cYou\u2019re not on our level. You\u2019ve never been on our level. And if you don\u2019t believe that, my good friend Stat and I will do what you couldn\u2019t do and beat Divine Dominion for the tag team titles!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Shirakawa asked Stat how she could trust Shida. Shida stepped in and argued in Japanese, but Cameron responded with her own Japanese! Statlander left for her match, as Shida and Shirakawa continued to argue.<\/span><\/span> B3CCA attacked at the bell and got in a few shots, but Statlander quickly stopped that with a back elbow and a knee to the face. Statlander catapulted B3CCA into the middle turnbuckle and hit a running uppercut, but B3CCA stopped Stat with a high boot and went to the apron for a running knee and a thrust kick. B3CCA hit a dropkick from the top rope to Stat on the apron! Back in the ring, Statlander grabbed B3CCA for Staturday Night Fever, but B3CCA escaped with strikes until Statlander stopped her with one big strike. Statlander bounced off the ropes right into a Flatliner from B3CCA! B3CCA locked in a vice on Statlander\u2019s head, but Statlander quickly slipped out and stood up to hit a Staturday Night Fever for the win! Statlander walked by the open arms of Shida on her way up the ramp.<\/span><\/span> In the back, Lexy Nair asked \u201cColossal\u201d Lena Kross and \u201cMegasus\u201d Megan Bayne for a response to Shida\u2019s declaration. Kross wondered why they should be worried. They\u2019ve been ready and waiting. Bayne isn\u2019t worried about another thrown-together tag team. Kross said they have more than the titles. They have an understanding that there aren\u2019t two other women in this realm who look like they do, move like they do and destroy like they do.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not a challenge. It\u2019s your fate. Accept it.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span> The crowd seemed firmly behind RUSH at the bell, as he kicked away a handshake offering from Priest. Priest tried to trade with RUSH and was standing his ground until RUSH put him on the ropes. Priest came back with a dropkick, which seemed to anger RUSH. He chopped Priest to size and stomped him in the corner. RUSH continued with headbutts and pulled up short running into the corner just to kick Priest anyway. RUSH posed to admire his work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Back from the break, Priest came off the top with a leg drop from the top rope for a near-fall! RUSH turned things around with a rebound German Suplex, followed by a knee to the face that put Priest on the floor. RUSH threw Priest into the barricade and slammed him off the commentary desk. He continued to use the barricades to punish RUSH before stomping him on the floor. RUSH threw Priest back in the ring and hammered him in the corner. RUSH charged up to hit Bull\u2019s Horns and connected! RUSH pulled Priest out of the corner, wiped his hands and covered Priest for the pinfall victory!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
