Reba McEntire<\/strong><\/a> remembered a special guest who made an appearance on her beloved sitcom in the early 2000s.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid y\u2019all know my Mama made a cameo on the Reba<\/em> show in our fourth season? I still get a kick out of this!\u201d McEntire wrote in her caption as she shared a video on Instagram<\/a>. The country singer-songwriter and actress shared a scene from Reba<\/em> with co-star Melissa Peterman<\/strong>. McEntire\u2019s mother, Jacqueline<\/strong>, appears at the end of the clip. McEntire’s mother passed away in 2020. She was 93. McEntire has since paid tribute to her late mother with a heartfelt ballad, \u201cSeven Minutes in Heaven,\u201d<\/a> which appeared on her album Not That Fancy<\/em>. The 14-track collection arrived in October 2023, along with a companion lifestyle book by the same title.<\/p>\n

McEntire starred as Reba Hart in the comedy show that premiered in 2001. Others in the cast included Christopher Rich<\/strong>, JoAnna Garcia Swisher<\/strong>, Scarlett Pomers<\/strong>, Mitch Holleman<\/strong> and Steve Howey<\/strong>. The show ran for six seasons, coming to an end in 2007. In October 2024, McEntire debuted her new comedy series, Happy\u2019s Place<\/em><\/a>. The show reunites the \u201cFancy\u201d star with Reba<\/em> co-star Peterman, plus her real-life fianc\u00e9, actor Rex Linn<\/strong>, and others in the cast. McEntire\u2019s character \u201cinherits a restaurant from her late father, then learns she must share ownership with a newly discovered half-sister, creating awkward tension between the two,\u201d per the NBC sitcom\u2019s description. McEntire is now gearing up for another season of Happy\u2019s Place<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
