\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSO WE\u2019VE BEEN RELATIVELY LUCKY HERE SO FAR. THIS SPRING TEMPERATURE TREND IS A LITTLE COOLER. SO WE DO HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF A SPIKE TOMORROW AS WE APPROACH 70. BUT IT\u2019S A SHORT LIVED SPIKE. YOU CAN SEE OUR TEMPERATURES OVERALL TRENDING BELOW AVERAGE, UPPER 50S TO LOW 60S. AT THIS POINT, WE\u2019RE TRAVELING NOW THROUGH THE MONTH OF MAY. AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE CLOSER TO 65 DEGREES, AND WE\u2019LL BE STAYING BELOW THAT FOR MUCH OF THE WEEK AHEAD. SHOWERS TO OUR WEST ARE CONTINUING TO MARCH EASTWARD. THESE ARE GENERALLY LIGHT AND SCATTERED. SO AS THEY CONTINUE TO MARCH EAST, YOU\u2019LL WANT THE UMBRELLA, BUT I DON\u2019T THINK IT\u2019S GOING TO BE A WASHOUT BY ANY MEANS. YOU CAN SEE THE FIRST DROPS ARE JUST STARTING TO PUSH TOWARD WORCESTER, SO THIS IS A SLOW MARCH EASTWARD ALONG THE MASS PIKE. WE\u2019RE SEEING STEADIER RAINFALL AS YOU MOVE OUT TOWARD THE SOUTHBRIDGE AREA AND HEADING FURTHER WESTWARD OUT TOWARDS SPRINGFIELD. WE\u2019RE ALSO SEEING SOME RAIN DOWN INTO CONNECTICUT AND RHODE ISLAND. BUT OUR NEXT THREAT ON OUR RADAR, STEADIER RAINFALL THAT ARRIVES THIS EVENING. AND IT\u2019S DURING THIS ROUND OF RAIN THAT I EXPECT HEAVIER SOAKING POCKETS OF RAIN THAT COULD FEATURE SOME WEAK THUNDERSTORMS WHEN WE GET THROUGH TODAY AND THROUGH ABOUT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, AS THIS RAIN WILL START TO FINALLY WRAP UP, WE\u2019RE LOOKING AT JUST ABOUT HALF AN INCH OF RAINFALL. NOTICE SOME OF THE MODELS ARE INDICATING WE COULD SEE A LITTLE BIT OVER HALF AN INCH. SO THIS IS A GOOD SOAKING RAIN THAT\u2019S PASSING BY FOR US TODAY. I KNOW IT MEANS THAT WILL BE DAMPENING YOUR PLANS THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE OUTDOORS TODAY. BUT I WILL SAY I EXPECT THERE WILL BE MORE DRY BREAKS IN THE FORECAST TOMORROW, AS I\u2019LL SHOW IN JUST A BIT. IT\u2019S COOL OUT THERE. 35 IN MANCHESTER, 38 IN PLYMOUTH, NOT AS COOL IN THE CITY, 45 DEGREES, BUT STILL A LITTLE BELOW AVERAGE HERE AS WE MAKE OUR WAY TOWARD THE AFTERNOON. UPPER 50S FOR MOST SPOTS, MAYBE HITTING 60S. MOVE SOUTH OF THE PIKE BUT STILL STAYING BELOW AVERAGE, WHICH IS IN THE MID 60S AT THIS POINT IN THE YEAR. SHOWERS CONTINUE TO MARCH EASTWARD THIS MORNING. SO HERE WE ARE AT 9:00. YOU STILL NEED THAT UMBRELLA NEARBY. I WOULD SAY THE ONLY SPOT WHERE WE MIGHT MISS OUT ON THIS MORNING. RAIN IS DOWN TOWARD THE SOUTH COAST, CAPE AND ISLANDS WHERE YOU CAN SEE THOSE SHOWERS ARE JUST TO OUR NORTH AND WEST. WHAT WE\u2019LL SEE WITH THIS FIRST ROUND OF RAIN IS THAT IT\u2019S GOING TO KIND OF PIVOT HERE NORTHWARD, AND THAT WILL ALLOW FOR A LITTLE BIT OF A LULL FROM BOSTON WORCESTER SOUTH. SO PRETTY MUCH FROM THE MASS PIKE SOUTH AS WE APPROACH MIDDAY TODAY, IT\u2019S GOING TO BE A SHORT LIVED LULL. BUT I GIVE YOU A HEADS UP HERE, IF YOU DO HAVE TO GET OUT AND ABOUT, THAT MIGHT BE YOUR BEST CHANCE TO DO SO, BECAUSE SHOWERS FILL BACK IN QUICKLY. HERE WE ARE, 4:00, MARCHING EASTWARD, AND THAT COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES. LOOK AT THIS YELLOW AND ORANGE THAT\u2019S INDICATING SOME HEAVIER SHOWERS THAT COULD BRING, OF COURSE, THAT CHANCE FOR LIGHTNING AND THUNDER. WE MOVE TOWARD 9:00 THIS EVENING, THE HEAVIEST OF THE RAIN FOCUS OVER SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS. I WOULD SAY BY MIDNIGHT, THOUGH, WE SHOULD SEE MOST OF THE SHOWERS DWINDLE THEREAFTER. IT\u2019S PATCHY FOG OVERNIGHT. TOMORROW MORNING, NEAR 50 DEGREES. THAT FOG COULD SLOW YOU DOWN TOMORROW MORNING AND KIND OF CREATE A MURKY START TO OUR SUNDAY WITH A CHANCE OF SOME POCKETS OF DRIZZLE. BUT IT\u2019S NOT ALL TOO WET OUT THERE. WE COULD SEE SOME BREAKS OF SUN IN THE AFTERNOON TOMORROW WITH JUST A PASSING SPOT. SHOWER POTENTIAL IN THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS.
