The watch will stay in effect until midnight Sunday night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The entire San Antonio metro area is included in the severe thunderstorm watch. Several cities along the I-35 corridor, including New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Austin are also included in the watch, as well as much of the Texas Hill Country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to move into the northern Hill Country by 7 p.m., and it will likely reach the I-35 corridor by 9 to 10 p.m. Areas in the watch area could encounter damaging wind gusts \u2013 up to 75 mph \u2013 as well\u00a0as isolated large\u00a0hail. A cold front will start moving through North Texas Sunday afternoon before quickly rushing southward. As it reaches South Texas later in the night,\u00a0a line of thunderstorms is expected to develop<\/a>, bringing the potential for severe weather, including large hail and damaging wind gusts. As the front moves south, it will interact with the humid air and allow strong to severe storms to form alongside it.
