Derek Hough<\/a><\/strong> just celebrated his first birthday<\/a> as a new dad.<\/p>\n The Dancing with the Stars<\/a><\/em> icon, who turned 41 on Sunday<\/a>, took to Instagram<\/a> with beautiful photos of his daughter, Everley, who was born in December<\/a>. <\/p>\n “The greatest gift, this year and every year is my daughter, Everley,” he wrote. “My heart has expanded in ways I never knew, and I\u2019m so full of love.”<\/p>\n The carousel of photos also featured a sweet photo of his wife, Hayley Erbert.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n “I feel incredibly fortunate for all life\u2019s blessings, doing what I love, with the one I love @hayley.erbert and sharing it with my little growing family,” he added. “Being a father is the greatest gift of all.”<\/p>\n Erbert, who according to Hough’s Instagram Stories also decorated their house to celebrate, also took to her own Instagram<\/a> with photos of the couple throughout the years.<\/p>\n “My husband. My love. My soulmate. My forever dance partner. My best friend<\/a>. My baby daddy,” she wrote. “Happy Birthday! Life is so much better because you\u2019re in it. This time around though, they’ll be traveling as a family of three.<\/p>\n \u201cTo now be able to go on tour this summer, to bring her on the road with us, even though she doesn\u2019t know what\u2019s going on yet…I cannot wait to share that,” Hough said in an ABC<\/a> interview in April.<\/p>\n Since welcoming Everly at the end of last year, the DWTS<\/a><\/em> couple has regularly shared adorable photos of the nearly 6-month-old, which include snaps of snuggles or heartfelt moments where Everley’s laugh was captured on camera.<\/a><\/p>\n “My favorite sound in the whole world,” Erbert wrote of the moment.<\/p>\n This month also marked Erbert’s first Mother’s Day as a new mom, which she also commemorated on Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n “The greatest honor of my life is being your mom,” she wrote. “Everley, I love you with everything that I am.
