There are perks of being an A-lister.<\/p>\n

And while Paul Rudd<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s son Jack<\/strong>, 20, and daughter Darby<\/strong>, 16\u2014whom he shares with wife Julie Yaeger<\/strong>\u2014are not normally impressed with their dad\u2019s star power, his collaboration with Nick Jonas<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on the movie Power Ballad <\/em>changed the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my daughter is impressed that I got to meet Nick Jonas,\u201d Paul told E! News during the film\u2019s New York City screening May 19. \u201cShe’s excited about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though the 57-year-old admitted Jack and Darby aren\u2019t always the most vocal with their support.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey’re like, \u2018This is like dad’s job,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cThey got other things to worry about and to concern themselves with, and that’s fine with me. I think that’s great, but I do think that quietly they\u2019re proud.\u201d<\/p>\n

But while Nick and Paul\u2019s onscreen relationship is fraught in Power Ballad<\/em>\u00a0after Paul\u2019s character accuses Nick\u2019s of stealing his song, their friendship hit the right chord offscreen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
