The Texas Tech softball team<\/a> will try to score a win in the first game of the Gainesville Super Regional when the Red Raiders take on the Florida Gators<\/a> today.<\/p>\n\n

The Red Raiders<\/a> are the 11th-overall seed in the 2026 NCAA softball tournament field while the Gators are the No. 6 seed and earned the right to host the best-of-three series. Both teams made the Women’s College World Series last year but only one will be able to return to Oklahoma City next week.<\/p>\n
