Notable shows<\/h2>\n

The new Mindy Kaling comedy \u201cNot Suitable for Work<\/strong>\u201d (Hulu, June 2) follows a group of friends chasing professional success in Manhattan\u2019s Murray Hill neighborhood. Ella Hunt, Avantika and Nicholas DuVernay star.<\/p>\n\n

Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson and Javier Bardem star in the thriller \u201cCape Fear<\/strong>\u201d (Apple TV, June 5), based on the novel by John D. MacDonald and inspired by Martin Scorsese\u2019s 1991 adaptation.<\/p>\n

Adult best friends become enemies when one (Jemaine Clement) starts dating the 26-year-old daughter of the other (Nicola Walker) in \u201cAlice and Steve<\/strong>\u201d (Hulu, June 8), a messy romantic comedy of love, betrayal and revenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery Year After<\/strong>\u201d (Prime Video, June 10), based on the bestselling young adult novel \u201cEvery Summer After\u201d by Carley Fortune, follows a young couple (Sadie Soverall and Matt Cornett) over six years in the small lake town of Barry\u2019s Bay.<\/p>\n

Larry David creates and stars in the sketch comedy limited series \u201cLife, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness<\/strong>\u201d (HBO Max, June 26), produced by Barack and Michelle Obama\u2019s Higher Ground.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cAdventure Time: Side Quests<\/strong>\u201d (Disney+ and Hulu, June 29) is a companion to the award-winning animated fantasy series for kids.<\/p>\n

Anticipated movies<\/h2>\n

Jennifer Lopez is a high-powered CEO and Brett Goldstein a newly hired lawyer in the romantic comedy \u201cOffice Romance<\/strong>\u201d (Netflix, June 5). <\/p>\n\n

Zoey Deutch is a San Francisco single whose confessional voicemails are inadvertently sent to a real estate agent in Austin (Nick Robinson) in \u201cVoicemails for Isabelle<\/strong>\u201d (Netflix, June 19).<\/p>\n

The class of 2005 is called back 20 years later to complete their final year in \u201cNever Change!<\/strong>\u201d (Hulu, June 17), a comedy starring Sofia Black-D\u2019Elia, Ana Gasteyer, Zach Cherry and Topher Grace.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Hand of Dante<\/strong>\u201d (Netflix, June 24) follows a writer (Oscar Isaac) who helps a mob boss (Gerard Butler) steal the original manuscript to Dante\u2019s \u201cDivine Comedy.\u201d Gal Gadot, John Malkovich and Al Pacino co-star in Julian Schnabel\u2019s adaptation of the novel by Nick Tosches.<\/p>\n

A violin tutor (Chloe Bailey) hired by a wealthy family discovers secrets that threaten her safety and sanity in \u201cStrung<\/strong>\u201d (Peacock, June 26) from director Malcolm D. Lee. Lynn Whitfield and Anna Diop co-star.<\/p>\n

James Cameron\u2019s hit action spectacle \u201cAvatar: Fire and Ash<\/a><\/strong>\u201d (Disney+, June 24), the third film in his groundbreaking science fiction franchise, makes its streaming debut this month. <\/p>\n
