Otherwise, the consumer is going to build that trust with ChatGPT&#8221; or another AI model.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Robinhood&#8217;s two agentic tools connect customers&#8217; third-party AI agents to Robinhood&#8217;s model context protocol. Multiple agents, including Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Codex CLI, and Cursor are supported, according to Robinhood&#8217;s website, but any agent will work as long as it can integrate with Robinhood&#8217;s MCP.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our mission has always been to democratize finance for all, and now, that mission extends to AI agents,&#8221; Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For agentic trading, users will be able to create a dedicated agentic trading account that is funded separately from the user&#8217;s main trading account. At first, agents will be limited to just\u00a0 trading equities, but eventually, Robinhood plans to support options, crypto, event contracts and futures trading.<\/p>\n<p>Users can also have their agent analyze their portfolio for risks and exposures, build a portfolio matching a certain criteria, back test their portfolio or automatically rebalance their portfolio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s agentic credit card works in a similar way. Users can connect their agent to a dedicated virtual <ps-link><a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanbanker.com\/news\/robinhood-unveils-plans-for-new-banking-products\" class=\"Link\" target=\"_blank\"><u>Robinhood Gold Card<\/u><\/a><\/ps-link> \u2013 which is issued by Coastal Community Bank and runs on the Visa network \u2013 and set a spending limit. Users can also choose whether to require manual approvals for purchases. The Robinhood Platinum Card will also be supported when it launches later this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From there, users&#8217; agents are free to shop for the best prices, monitor availability and automatically make purchases while also earning 3% cash back on those purchases.
