Season 3 of HBO\u2019s popular adaption of The Last of Us video games, is on a four-week hiatus from production in Vancouver this month.<\/p>\n

Filming on the new season began in early March and locals have spotted several sequences of Kaitlyn Dever\u2019s Abby Anderson and \u00a0Kyriana Kratte\u2019s Seraphite Lev skulking through downtown Vancouver dressed as dystopian Seattle.<\/p>\n

What is The Last of Us?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Last of Us\u00a0takes place 20+ years after modern civilization has been destroyed by the Cordyceps fungal pandemic.<\/p>\n

In season one, Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, was hired to smuggle Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What started as a small job soon became a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they traversed the U.S. and depended on each other for survival.<\/p>\n

Season 2 picked up five years after the events of the first season, with Joel and Ellie living in Jackson, Wyoming but estranged by a lie. Joel\u2019s brutal death at the hands of former Firefly Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) sent Ellie to Seattle on a path of vengeance against Abby and her Washington Liberation Front (WLF) crew.<\/p>\n

Season 3 will change perspective, following Abby on her journey to a confrontation with Ellie.<\/p>\n

Will that shift of perspective soften Abby, who is arguably the most the most-hated video game character of all time?<\/p>\n

The fans are really going to like it, I think, the shifting perspective onto Abby, getting some more context onto her storyline and going back in time with this season. \u2014 \u2014 Kaitlyn Dever to\u00a0Deadline: Hollywood.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Returning cast in season 3 include Abby\u2019s WLF crew \u2014 Spencer Lord as Owen, Tati Gabrielle as Nora,, Ariela Barer as Mel. Joining season 3 is Jorge Lendeborg Jr. in a recasting as the new Manny.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Wright should be back too as the ruthless WLF leader Isaac Dixon.<\/p>\n

And we will meet Patrick Wilson as Abby\u2019s fatherJerry and Jason Ritter as WLF soldier Hanley.<\/p>\n

The new Seraphite cast includes rebels Kyriana Kratte as Lev and ,Michelle Mao as Yara plus Cleo DuVall in an undisclosed role.<\/p>\n

Ellie\u2019s Jackson crew \u2014 Gabriel Luna as Tommy Miller and Isabel Merced as Dina. \u2014 should show up later.<\/p>\n
