Below, the waters teem with great white, bull and tiger sharks.<\/p>\n<p>The tower sits squarely in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seavistamotel.com\/hurricanes-and-the-islands-off-north-carolina\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hurricane alley,<\/a> where tropical storms routinely batter the structure with winds exceeding 100 mph.
