In retrospect, I don\u2019t know what I was expecting Jason Momoa\u2019s Blanka to look like in the upcoming <\/span>live-action <\/span>Street Fighter <\/span><\/i>movie<\/span><\/a>. In the games the green, electricity-wielding mutant has such an inhuman design that, whether you\u2019re trying to recreate it using practical effects or with CGI, you\u2019re probably gonna get something that looks a little off as long as you\u2019re aiming for some semblance of realism. Now, we\u2019ve gotten our best look at the guy yet in a new clip of him fighting Andrew Koji\u2019s Ryu and er, he looks kinda cursed, I can\u2019t lie.<\/span><\/p>\n The cast of the new <\/span>Street Fighter<\/span><\/i> is pretty weird<\/span><\/a>, with folks like rapper 50 Cent and <\/span>an anti-woke online personality<\/span><\/a> playing some of the oddballs who populate the roster of Capcom\u2019s fighting games. Momoa is definitely one of the bigger names in the cast, and even if the CG mashup of his likeness and Blanka\u2019s green skin could give me nightmares, he\u2019s committing to the bit here as he and Koji go at it in some honest-to-god street fighting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
