Ludacris<\/strong>, Morgan Wade<\/strong>, and Carter Faith<\/strong> have all officially dropped out of the Rock the Country Music Festival.<\/p>\n The festival, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, will be held in eight small towns across the country from May to September. Some of the headliners include Kid Rock<\/strong><\/a>, Jason Aldean<\/strong><\/a>, Blake Shelton<\/strong><\/a>, Jelly Roll<\/strong><\/a>, Riley Green<\/strong>, Miranda Lambert<\/strong>, Brooks & Dunn<\/strong>, and Ella Langley<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n Ludacris was the first artist to drop out<\/a> last week, with his rep telling Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> that he was never supposed to be on the lineup, and that his inclusion had been the result of a \u201cmix-up.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cLines got crossed and he wasn\u2019t supposed to be on there,\u201d the rep said.<\/p>\n Wade and Faith followed in the rapper’s footsteps, quietly canceling their appearances without a public explanation.
