Sheinelle Jones<\/a> just gave Today<\/a><\/em> fans an exciting update on one of her previously announced projects.<\/p>\n Back in September 2024, Jones announced that her debut book, Through Mom\u2019s Eyes<\/a>: Simple Wisdom From Mothers Who Raised Extraordinary Humans<\/em>, would be released in April 2025. The book\u2019s drop was twice delayed<\/a> as Jones took time away from Today<\/em> following her husband Uche Ojeh\u2019s death<\/a> in May 2025. (Jones returned<\/a> to the NBC morning show in September 2025.)<\/p>\n In a Friday, January 30, Instagram post<\/a>, Jones revealed that fans won\u2019t have to wait too much longer to read her book. \u201cHi everyone! I wanted to share an update with you. 💗 My book, THROUGH MOM\u2019S EYES<\/em>, is officially coming out on April 14, 2026,\u201d she announced. \u201cThank you all for being so understanding and supportive- especially if you preordered it, and watched the publication date change, so I could focus on my family.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cYears ago, I set out to write this book about motherhood and what I\u2019ve learned from women I admire \u2014 and you can probably imagine how it felt as my life got turned upside down \u2018while\u2019 I was writing it. I poured my heart into this book and I can\u2019t wait to share it with you in April. You\u2019re going to love what the women in this book have to say. It\u2019ll make you laugh one moment and tear up too!
