Ahead of his clash against Georgio Poullas at RAF06, Arman Tsarukyan has attempted to pay $5000 to skip the pre-fight weigh-in.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The UFC<\/a> lightweight number one contender hasn\u2019t competed under the UFC banner since this past November when he defeated Dan Hooker<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite his inactivity in the premier MMA promotion over the last few years, \u2018Ahalkalakets\u2019 has been keeping himself active in grappling and wrestling competition.<\/p>\n

And that activity continues this Saturday when Arman Tsarukyan<\/a> steps back onto the Real American Wrestling<\/a> mats to take on Georgio Poullas.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan offered Poullas $5000 to not have to weigh-in for wrestling match<\/h2>\n

During his time away from the Octagon, the Armenian has been doing everything he can to grow his presence on social media.<\/p>\n

And in an attempt to do so, Tsarukyan has found his niche to be eating an abundant amount of giant food which has seen him massively grow in popularity.<\/p>\n

The issue with that is that he is currently nowhere near his current fight weight of 155lbs, and in fact, he is seemingly worried that he may not be near the 185lb limit for his wrestling match.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou want $5000. I\u2019ll get you $5000 and don\u2019t even show my weight,\u201d Tsarukyan told Poullas in a meeting backstage during their RAF06 press conference.<\/p>\n

\u201c$5000 to just weigh in at whatever?\u201d Poullas responded.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll get you $5000 and whatever my weight is now,\u201d Tsarukyan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow much do you weigh now?\u201d Poullas asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho gives a f\u2014? Bro, I\u2019m maximum 178lbs,\u201d Tsarukyan answered.<\/p>\n

Despite Tsarukyan\u2019s claim that he is no more than 178lbs, their match is scheduled at middleweight, meaning he wouldn\u2019t need to cut any weight to hit the limit.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan and Poullas make $10,000 bet ahead of match<\/h2>\n

The $5000 Tsarukyan was willing to give to his opponent to not have to weigh in isn\u2019t the only money the UFC star is splashing ahead of their match.<\/p>\n

In fact, Tsarukyan and Poullas have seemingly made a bet worth $10,000 for their wrestling match, as Tsarukyan is convinced Poullas won\u2019t be able to take him down.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of right now, me and Arman came to an agreement of a bet worth $10,000 on the match winner. I think there may be a bit more talking about betting during the press conference,\u201d Poullas said at the pre-fight presser.<\/p>\n
