Eury Pérez leaves game vs. Blue Jays after four innings

Pérez, who had struck out a season-high nine batters over four scoreless innings, was spotted by the Marlins.TV broadcast being attended to by the training staff inside the dugout. Moments before, Pérez had been stretching his shoulder to get ready for warmups in between innings. Once he sat down, he appeared in visible pain and was eventually helped down the tunnel by Sandy Alcantara.

Right-hander Michael Petersen took over for Pérez in the fifth.
