Record Heat For West, Triple-Digit Highs for Southwest

Record heat from a ridge of high pressure will bring widespread 80s and 90s to the West. The southwest, including Phoenix and Las Vegas, could reach triple-digit high temperatures, making it feel more like summer than spring. Dozens of cities from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada, Boise, Idaho and Albuquerque, New Mexico, could see record highs to start the work week. Here’s the latest.
