SC governor candidates speak in forum

Republican and Democratic candidates for South Carolina governor will take the stage at 6 p.m. tonight at Lightsey Chapel on the campus of Charleston Southern University to discuss the state’s top issues.

The forum is hosted by The Post and Courier and AARP South Carolina.

Here are the candidates who are attending the forum:

Republicans Pamela Evette, Nancy Mace, Rom Reddy and Alan Wilson and Democrat Mullens McCleod were invited but declined to participate.

Political writers Nick Reynolds and Anna Wilder will provide updates and observations throughout the debate below.
