Twenty-six players have been named to the U.S. Men’s National Team roster for FIFA World Cup 2026. To get to know them better, we asked every player a set of 26 rapid-fire questions to learn more about their personalities and their journeys that led them to this incredible moment on the sport’s biggest stage.

What’s your typical off day like?

Pretty chill. I’m a homebody, so I like to just be in my space and my energy and my vibe, looking at the beach.

What’s your ideal breakfast on an off day?

I’m a really light eater in the mornings. I like eggs, toast, and something that’ll get me going.

Do you have a favorite genre of music?

R&B or soul music.

If a song played every time you walked into a room, what would it be?

Teddy Pendergrass. “Love T.K.O.” Something sweet, something vibey, something very mellow and easy.

Do you play any instruments?

I used to play the violin. Unfortunately, I don’t anymore.

You’re really into fashion. How would you describe your style?

My style is very day-to-day. It’s however I’m feeling. If I’m sad, I like to wear darker tones. If I’m happy, I like to wear something that pops a bit.

How many siblings do you have?

I have two siblings.

And what was it like being the baby of the family?

It was amazing. You get what you want, every time.

Electric toothbrush or manual?

I use both. I have both. I use electric when I’m here at home and manual when I’m away.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

I’m a bit of both, it depends. Me wanting to be responsible, I try to get to bed early. But on an off day, I’ll do my thing – stay up, watch movies, play games with my friends and push my limits.

What are two of your favorite food cuisines?

Asian and Jamaican. I love Jamaican food.

If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

That’s tough. I’m going to go with curry goat with rice and peas with a side of plantain. My other option would be a soft, chewy dumpling.

Smile with teeth or soft smile?

A bit of both, depending on my vibe. So I could do the “cheese” or I could do the grin.

TV or movies?

I’m a movie guy.

Is there a certain TV series that you’re watching right now?

“Euphoria.” Euphoria has been really good to me.

And what movie would you recommend?

“Paid in Full,” if you haven’t watched it yet, you have to watch it.

You grew up in Queens, New York. How often are you able to get back and visit?

I try to get back every summer. In December, I like to be responsible and work out for the season here for the second half. In the summertime, I like to get back and soak in some love.

What’s your favorite thing to do when you go back to Queens?

Be with family. I’m super family-oriented. So chill with my people, chill with friends, go out shopping, do the full list of things.

What’s an item in your house that you could not live without?

Toothbrush. Gotta wash your mouth.

What’s been your favorite place you have ever traveled to?

Africa as a whole. I’ve been to a few places, South Africa, Liberia, Ghana. Those trips have been amazing.

Is there a memory that makes you think of that country when you travel?

Connecting with the locals and the people. It’s amazing knowing their struggles and knowing what they go through daily. It brings you back down to earth. It’s a humble experience each time. And, that’s my home, that’s where my blood is, those are where my roots come from.

What is something that you always have to travel with?

A fresh pair of kicks.

What’s something that is on your bucket list?

I want to go to the Philippines and try balut. As a foodie and as someone that is always on YouTube watching the Food Channel, I want to explore that side of me because I’m really picky, so I want to get out there and try new things.

Do you remember the name of your first youth club?

Roselle Soccer Club in Queens, New York.

And what was your number?

22.

Who was one person who really assisted you on your journey to becoming a pro soccer player?

Both my parents. More specifically my mother because she pushed me and she was my first coach.

What’s a USMNT memory that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face?

Any time that I get to spend time with my brothers, specifically Chris Richards and Mark McKenzie. We’ve shared so much over the years. I had the opportunity to be at Mark’s wedding, so that was amazing. It was really fun. Anytime I get with my boys in general, the whole team, it’s fun.

When this tournament is over, and you look back, what do you hope people say about the way you played and carried yourself?

Just happy. I want to bring a lot of people joy. I play with so much pride. Sometimes, a lot of things get in the way, but hopefully I can leave them with a loving experience, an experience that brought the whole world together and the whole United States together. I can’t wait to be out there and representing my country.
