Just days from the 2026 World Cup kickoff in Mexico City, teams continue preparations with friendlies on Sunday, June 7.
The day’s headliner is a Morocco vs. Norway matchup in Harrison, New Jersey, with Colombia facing Jordan in San Diego in the other game between teams participating in the World Cup. Croatia and Ecuador are also in action, the latter facing Guatemala in Columbus, Ohio.
The tournament begins on June 11 with co-host Mexico against South Africa at the Estadio Azteca, oddly enough a rematch of the 2010 World Cup opener in Johannesburg. The U.S. men’s national team kicks off against Paraguay on June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Canada faces Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 13 in Toronto as the other host nations.
The 2026 World Cup final is set for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
