Vance says ‘no agreement reached’ in US and Iran peace talks
Vice President JD Vance said the United States was unable to reach an agreement to end the war in Iran after negotiations in Islamabad, Pakistan.
It won’t be long now before Vice President JD Vance visits Georgia for Turning Point Tour’s stop in Athens. He will be joined by Erika Kirk, widow of Charlie Kirk and CEO of Turning Point USA. Here’s what we know:
The event is at Akins Ford Arena on Hickory Street.
Turning Point’s Georgia stop is Tuesday, April 14.
The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. but guests will not be able to line up until 11 a.m.
Those interested in attending the event will not be charged. They just have to submit their information to theturningpointtour.com. However, this is a first-come, first-served event and UGA students will be prioritized.
