STARTING XI NOTES:

Lindsey Heaps, 32, earns her 178th cap, 138th start and it will be her 45th game captaining the U.S. She currently has 40 career goals, good for 16th all-time in U.S. history. The midfielder will return to the NWSL in her home state to play for expansion side Denver Summit FC stating in July.

Rose Lavelle, 30, earns her 122nd cap and 102nd start. Her 122 appearances are good for 35th most caps in USWNT history.

Emily Sonnett, 32, earns her 118th cap and 66th start. Sonnett is the oldest player on the roster and the second most capped. Her 118 appearances are good for 38th most in USWNT history.

Emily Fox, 27, earns her 77th cap and 65th start. The Arsenal FC right back played the final 210 minutes of the 2026 SheBelieves Cup, playing her first two full 90-minute international matches since October of 2025. She played two more full-90 matches in the April window vs. Japan.

Sophia Wilson, 25, earns her 63rd cap and 44th start as she returns for her second USWNT camp after giving birth to her daughter. Wilson’s most recent match before the 2026 April window for the U.S. was on Oct. 27, 2024, vs. Iceland. Wilson is the 18th mother to play for the USWNT. She scored on June 6 vs. Brazil to become the ninth woman to score as a mother (590 days after her most recent goal which came on on Oct. 24, 2024, vs. Iceland). The eight other players who have scored as a mom are Alex Morgan (with 16 goals as a mom), Joy Fawcett (13 goals), Danielle Fotopoulos (5), Amy Rodriguez (4), Jessica McDonald (2), Kate Markgraf (1), Kristine Lilly (1) and Tina Ellertson (1).

Emma Sears, 25, earns her 21st cap and ninth start. The winger last started on April 14 vs. Japan and subbed into the first match against Brazil on June 6.

Lily Yohannes, 18, earns her 20th cap and her 13th start. The youngest player on the team, Yohannes was eight years old and still living in the United States (two years before her family’s move to the Netherlands) when fellow starter Emily Sonnett earned her first cap in 2015.

Avery Patterson, 24, earns her 14th cap and ninth start after subbing on at half in the first match vs. Brazil on June 6 inn São Paulo.

Michelle Cooper, 23, 14th cap and sixth start for the USWNT. Cooper also subbed into the first match vs. Brazil, coming on at the half with Patterson.

Claudia Dickey, 26, earns her 11th cap and 11th start. She has earned seven shutouts and 10 wins across her ten caps thus far for the USWNT.

Kennedy Wesley, 25, earns her 7th cap and fifth start for the USWNT. In her last appearance, on April 17 vs. Japan, Wesley subbed on at half and scored her first international goal and earned her first international assist.
