Cameron Diaz Welcomes Third Child and Reflects on Motherhood

Actress Cameron Diaz and her husband, musician Benji Madden, announced on Instagram the arrival of their third child, a newborn son named Nautas Madden, expanding their family to five members.

The announcement has sparked public discussion regarding Diaz embracing parenthood at the age of 53, while her 47-year-old husband shared the milestone on social media.

The newborn joins six-year-old sister Raddix and two-year-old brother Cardinal, both of whom were born via surrogacy. According to an anonymous source reported by heatworld.com, Diaz has no reservations about her age and views her role as a mother as her true life calling.

“Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!!” wrote Benji Madden, Co-Founder of Good Charlotte, on his social media page.

Madden further expressed his appreciation for their family dynamic on social platforms, emphasizing that their children are healthy and thriving during this new chapter.

“We love life with our family – our kids are healthy and happy and we are grateful! Having a blast…” added Madden, Guitarist for Good Charlotte.

The actress previously addressed her journey into parenting later in life during a broadcast on the No Filter YouTube channel, noting that building a family at an older age requires deliberate effort and commitment.

“Having a family when you’re young, it’s like anything when you’re young — you do it. But when you’re my age and you decide to do it, it’s a real choice. You really have to work hard for it,” said Cameron Diaz, Actress.

Diaz also playfully commented on the long-term commitment of raising newborns in her fifties during the same interview.

“The pressure for me now is I have to live to be 107,” stated Diaz, Actress.

While appearing as a guest on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop podcast, Diaz expressed complete satisfaction with her personal life transition, noting how modern perspectives on aging have evolved over the past decade.

“It’s my favourite thing I’ve ever done, it’s my whole existence,” explained Diaz, Actress.

The couple has been married since January 2015 following a private wedding ceremony in Los Angeles. Professionally, Diaz is returning to the screen in the upcoming Netflix projects Back in Action and Bad Day, while Madden prepares for a global tour with Good Charlotte.
