Chicago Fire, Med and Pd are about to be pulled from NBC’s schedule (and we now know when)

Since returning on the first Wednesday of the new year following their extended winter breaks, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago Pd have been airing new episodes weekly on Wednesdays without interruption. Sadly, that is soon about to change.

February is inching closer, and so are the 2026 Winter Olympics. The Milano Cortina Winter Olympics will officially kick off on February 6, and NBC remains the official broadcast home of coverage of the Olympic Games. This is exciting for those looking forward to watching the 2026 Winter Olympics, but it’s bad news for the One Chicago franchise and NBC’s primetime series.
