Fisher College receive warm welcome in Kazakhstan

Shortly after arriving in Astana for their upcoming tournament, Fisher College player Tommy “corn” Eckhart posted a clip of his team on the street signing autographs for fans. The players have shared several glimpses of their long journey to Kazakhstan’s capital, so it’s heart-warming to see them receive a warm welcome upon arrival.

The moment is made even more special by the fact that the upcoming PGL Astana event is the first tier-one tournament for all players except for their stand-in, Sanjar “neaLaN” Ishakov. For neaLaN, the event is a chance to play in his home country, as he is one of only four Kazakhstani participants.

Fisher’s opening match of the tournament will be against G2 at 01:00AM on May 9th.
